Meet Keystone

The assistant that keeps hiring moving while you're on the job.

Keystone builds worker profiles by text, ranks candidates for employers in plain English, and checks every post and message for compliance before it goes out. You drive. Keystone does the legwork.

Worker, by textExample

Hey Luis, Keystone here from Hard Earned. What trade, and how many years in?

Plumber. 8 years, last 5 at Alamo Mechanical

Solid. Texas license? Send the number and I'll verify it.

Fictional example.

For workers

A profile that took five minutes, not a weekend.

1

Text in

Keystone texts you a few straight questions: trade, years, city, licenses, certifications, tools, service area, pay range, availability.

2

Verify

Give your Texas license number and Keystone looks it up. Other credentials are reviewed by our team.

3

Name your supervisors

Tell Keystone the last two people you worked for. They get a vouch request by email. No account needed.

4

Review and approve

You read your profile, fix anything, and approve it before it goes live. Nothing is shared without your say.

How it works for workers

For employers

Say who you need. Get a ranked shortlist.

1

Ask in plain English

On the web or by text: “Journeyman electrician, San Antonio, own tools, 5+ years.”

2

Get a ranked shortlist

Candidates come back ranked with their verified history, license status and named vouches.

3

Rank against your roles

Keystone scores people against the open role you posted, so the best fit is on top.

4

You decide

Open a profile, generate interview questions from the person’s own work record, and send an introduction request. The worker accepts before any contact info is shared.

The same conversation follows you between the website and your phone. Start a search at your desk, pick it up by text from the job site. Keystone remembers where you left off.

Employer, by textExample

Who do we have for the service tech opening?

6 fit in the Austin metro. Top 3 have named vouches. Want them ranked against the role?

Fictional example.

How it works for employers

Use cases

Where Keystone earns its keep.

The owner on a job site

Text Keystone from the truck at lunch. You get a shortlist back before you finish the sandwich.

Hiring for a new market

Ask for the people in a new metro who match your trade and licenses. Rank them against the role you opened.

Backfilling a no-show

Need someone for a seasonal crunch or a short-term contract? Search for people open to temp or contract work.

The worker with no résumé

Five minutes of texting turns your real work history into a profile owners take seriously.

The hard-to-reach crew lead

Many good people don’t sit at a desk. They answer a text. Keystone meets them there.

Interviewing without guessing

Get questions drawn from each applicant’s own record, and keep every interview consistent.

Compliance coach

Every post, search and message is checked before it goes out.

Most owners don't get sued for being bad people. They get in trouble for a careless job ad or a screening question that shouldn't have been asked. The coach catches it first, cleans or rewrites what it can and blocks what it can't. It is a tool, not legal advice, and it is included on every plan.

  • Job posts. Checks the wording before you publish. Flags or rewrites language that could create legal risk.
  • Searches. Catches filters that screen on protected traits, and suggests job-related criteria instead.
  • Messages. Reviews outreach before it sends so it stays about the work.

Ground rules

Sharp like a foreman. Straight like one too.

Questions

Keystone: common questions

What is Keystone?

Keystone is the assistant built into Hard Earned. It texts workers to build a profile, and it lets employers search and rank candidates in plain English on the web or by text.

Does Keystone hire people for me?

No. Keystone is an assistant you drive. Employers choose who to search for, who to contact and who to hire. Hard Earned is a self-service platform with a flat subscription and never charges a fee tied to a hire.

How long does building a worker profile by text take?

About five minutes. Keystone asks a handful of questions about your trade, licenses, tools, service area and availability, then you review and approve the profile.

Can employers use Keystone by text?

Yes. Employers can search for candidates, list their open roles and rank candidates against a role by texting Keystone, and the same conversation shows up on the web.

What is the compliance coach?

A check that reviews job posts, searches and messages before they go out, and cleans, rewrites or flags language that could create legal risk. It is not legal advice, and it is included on every plan.

What will Keystone never ask?

Keystone does not ask about protected traits, criminal history, credit, salary history or immigration status, and it will not share contact information before the worker accepts an introduction.

Do I have to text?

No. Everything Keystone does by text can also be done on the website. Text just makes it faster when you are on the move.

Does it cost anything?

Workers pay nothing. Employers get Keystone-style search on paid plans, with the compliance coach on every plan including free. See pricing for details.

Put an assistant on your side of the hiring table.

Workers join free. Employers start free and get 60 days on any paid plan.
